The San Francisco Randonneurs will be co-hosting two Bicycle Handling Skills classes in March run by Paul Skilbeck. If interest - signup for the first session on March 17th exceeds the 15 person limit, the session on March 24th will be a repeat. If interest matches space available then the session on March 24th will be an advanced session.

Location: Sports Basement in the Presidio, on Mason Street.

Dates:
March 17th, 11am to 2pm
March 24th, noon to 3pm (level and topic determined by turnout for March 17th.

Pre-registration required.

Cost: $10 per session. Pre-payment can be made by cash or by check made out to San Francisco Randonneurs and sent to 5630 Santa Cruz Ave., Richmond, CA. Contact rba@sfrandonneurs.org if you need to pay using other methods. Attendees will sign a waiver at the start of the class session.

Each session includes indoor classroom presentation and discussion, and an outdoor on-road training session. (Participants in the outdoor portion must have attended the classroom presentation.) The road session will be in two parts. Please plan for up to 3 hours for both the indoor and outdoor sessions. Rain postpones the outdoor session.

Elements of the Skills training includes both theory and practical application of: vision, line, braking, body position, breathing and muscle tension, contingencies and emergencies. The sessions will conclude with a summary and a question and answer period.
